THE RANGE IS OPEN FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON. During the Ocean Reef season we are open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10am to 3pm. We now have Hand gun and small rifle range in addition to Shotgun.
Card Sound Shooting Sports, which is located on Card Sound Road (click HERE for directions). For shotgunners, we have clay target ranges for Twister Trap, Skeet, and Five Stand Sporting Clays.
The Range is available to Rod & Gun members and their accompanied guests, and is usually open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm FOR SHOTGUN. Our HANDGUN range will be open on these same days from 10am to 2pm.
We will have Range Safety Officers (RSOs) on hand who will ensure that all comply with safety protocol. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR HANDGUNS OR RIFLES IN YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL YOU SPEAK TO AN RSO.
- For Rod & Gun members and their accompanied guests ONLY
- We will supply targets and have 9mm, .38, .40, .45, .22 and .223 ammo available for purchase.
- All other calibers must be supplied by Members
- Members must bring their own handguns - no rentals
- Small .22 rifles may be available to rent. See RSO.

The Range fee schedule is as follows:
Trap, Skeet & 5-Stand:
Members - $50 per round (25 shell box). Non- Members - $75 per round.
For our very active shooters, we offer a 20% discount on a case of shells (25 boxes). $1,000 per case which is $40 per box.
Shotgun rentals (various guages, including youth sizes and air rifles):
$50 per shotgun.
Handgun/Rifle Range (no rental guns):
Members - $50 per hour
Non-Members - $75 per hour
Ammo for sale:
9mm - $20 per 50rd box
.38 - $30 per 50rd box
.40 - $30 per 50rd box
.45 - $35 per 50rd box
.22 - $55 per 500rd box
.223 - $20 per 20rd box
Non-Members may come ONE time, after which you must join as a Member.
We also have Rod & Gun Club shooting vests, hats, shirts, cooler bags and other "swag" for purchase.
