Fish of the Month – Tuna and Cobia

To be weighed at MarineMax Tackle Shop.

This will run from December 2023 thru August 2024.  Here’s how it works… Each month, a species is identified as target. The angler (ORC member or guest) who weighs in the largest of said pescado during that month, receives a $50 tackle shop gift certificate along with notoriety as the month’s winner and angling bragging rights.

Weigh-ins available from 7:00 am – 4:45 pm.

If after hours weigh-in is necessary, then we can accept photo evidence of the fish and weight for the board. (Swordfish & Large Tuna ONLY)
If fish was not weighed at MarineMax Tackle Shop and there is no photo evidence of fish and weight, then that fish will not be counted for Fish of the Month.

March               African Pompano and Snapper (all legal species)
April                  Tuna and Cobia
May                   Mutton Snapper and Porgy
June                 Grouper and Yellowtail

August            Dolphin and Cubera Snapper
