Small Boat Sailfish Tournament Wednesday March 20, 2019

This event will be a ONE-DAY fishing tournament for SAILFISH.  This is a team competition with a maximum of four (4) anglers per boat. Each boat must be 39’ or less in length. Circle Hooks are required. Kites allowed this year. Chumming is NOT permitted. There are no fishing boundaries, but all boats must depart from and return to Ocean Reef.

IGFA Rules Apply.

All releases must be reported to the committee boat immediately. Sailfish must be released and will score 100 points each. Release Reports are to be turned in at the Awards Presentation. Ties will be broken on time. The tournament channel will be VHF 78. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

The entry fee is $537.50 per boat, which includes eligibility for awards, Captains’ Meeting and Awards Ceremony.

Wednesday, March 20

3:30 p.m.                                           Lines out of the water

5:30 p.m.                                           Turn in Score sheets at Evening Event

5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.                      Evening Cocktails, Heavy hors d’ouevres.  Awards.
